Plans & Billing
Your plan sets how many people can work in your organization and which features they get. You manage all of it in Subscription & Billing in the portal, and every change shows you its cost and its effective date before you confirm.
Current prices live on the pricing page. This page covers how the plans differ, and what happens when you move between them.
Plans at a glance
Free publishes everything it can build: five boards, five published. Free also caps intents, insights, and context boards. Those counts are organization-wide and lifetime, and the pricing page lists every one.
Pro and Team are the same product, billed per contributor; Team costs more per seat and adds roles, single sign-on and an onboarding consultation. Pro covers up to 4 contributors and has no SSO, while Team starts at 5 and adds SSO for the whole organization.
What Free does not include
Three things are paid features rather than counts. Each is shown where you would use it, with the plan that unlocks it, and the button still opens — it explains instead of acting.
Bringing your own model-provider key is on every plan, so Chat never stops when the starter turns run out. So is agent write access: a read + write MCP token works on Free, and what the agent writes counts against the same limits.
Free and Pro cannot use single sign-on at any seat count. Once you are on Team or Enterprise, follow Enterprise SSO to connect your identity provider.
What a contributor is
A contributor is one person in your organization. Every member holds a billed seat — there is no free viewer role, so your seat count is the number of people you pay for. The subscription page shows it as Seats.
Buy seats ahead of hiring if you like. You can add or remove them whenever you want, and we prorate the difference.

Change your plan or seats
- Open Subscription & Billing in the portal.
- Click Change plan or seats.
- Pick the plan and the number of contributors you want.
- Read the consequences we list, then confirm.
The preview names everything the change will do: what you pay today, what you pay from then on, when it takes effect, and whether single sign-on starts or stops. We charge nothing until you confirm that screen.
When a change takes effect
Timing follows the money, not the direction of the switch. We compare your new recurring total against your current one:
Because the rule is about the total, adding seats to your existing plan behaves exactly like moving up a plan.
A change scheduled for period end is not final. Confirming a new change replaces the scheduled one, and the preview tells you when it is about to do that.
Downgrading away from single sign-on
If your new plan doesn't include SSO, we suspend your connection on the effective date rather than delete it. Three things happen at once:
- Federated logins stop, because we detach your identity provider from the login flow.
- Require SSO switches off, so nobody is locked out — members sign in with email and password, or with Google.
- Your identity provider details and verified domains stay on file.
Upgrade again and SSO resumes immediately. You won't re-enter your IdP configuration or re-verify your domains.
Tell your team before a downgrade takes effect. Members who have only ever signed in through your IdP will need a password — they can set one with Forgot password? on the login page.
Cancel or resume
Click Cancel subscription on the subscription page. Cancellation always takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep full access until then.
On the effective date your organization moves to Free: your seat count drops to 1, and single sign-on stops under the same suspension rules as a downgrade. Your boards, sources, and history stay where they are.
Changed your mind? Any plan change you confirm before the effective date clears the pending cancellation, and your subscription renews as normal.
Payment
Payment runs through Stripe, and card details never touch our servers. Use Update payment method on the subscription page to change the card on file or download invoices.
- The Free plan needs no payment details at all.
- Paid plans are billed monthly. Annual billing is available by arrangement — talk to us if procurement needs it.
Paid plans are not refundable: the Free plan is there so you can evaluate the product for as long as you need before paying. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the period ends. An annual plan arranged with us follows the terms of that arrangement. If you buy as a consumer rather than for a business, your statutory rights still apply — see the Terms of Service.
Fair-use limits
Boards, published boards, context boards, intents and insights are unlimited on paid plans, within an organization-wide fair-use policy that protects shared capacity. The same policy covers graph storage on every plan, including Free.
These ceilings grow with your team. Each limit starts at an allowance for the smallest team on your plan. It increases with every contributor you add. The pricing page publishes both the starting figure and the per-contributor rate.
You won't meet a ceiling in ordinary use: we set each at roughly ten times what a team your size stores. If your board count does get close, your boards list shows where you stand against the limit.
Reaching a ceiling pauses new creates until we've talked — nothing you've already built is touched. Talk to us when that happens, or ahead of time if you know a large import is coming.
Verify your billing setup
- The plan shown on the subscription page is the one you expect
- Your seat count is at least the number of people in your organization
- A payment method is on file, and its expiry is in the future
- On Team or Enterprise, single sign-on is configured and a domain is verified
- No unexpected scheduled change or pending cancellation is listed
