Provider Sources
Provider sources will let you authorize tools like Confluence, Notion, and Jira, then add selected items to boards.
No provider source is available yet. Every provider appears in Settings → Connectors with Coming soon; you cannot authorize one or add items from it. For documents today, bind a Web URL or a Note, or use the connect plugin for a document repo. The model provider is the one connector that is live, and it powers Chat rather than adding sources.
Every provider is a pull source. The platform fetches content, Chat reads it on demand, and governing provider sources can build board structure when you ask. The rest of this page describes how that will work.
Authorize a provider and add sources
First, you authorize the provider. When it ships, open Settings → Connectors and find the provider. The provider determines whether authorization uses OAuth or an API key, and whether each user connects or one connection serves the organization. See Integrations Reference.
Then, you add items as sources. Open a board hub and choose Bindings → Add → Add Source → Import from a connector → your provider. Pick the items you want.
Authorizing a provider will not pull anything on its own. Nothing appears on a board until you browse and add items as sources.

The browser follows the provider's structure. Drill through Confluence spaces, browse Notion pages and databases, or open a Jira project.
Add one item or select several and bulk-add them in one pass.
Each item becomes its own catalog source, with metadata such as space, project, title, and identifiers. You can bind or remove each item independently.

GitHub is not the code plugin
Planning to analyze a codebase? Use the code plugin. It analyzes the repo locally and pushes a graph. The GitHub connector, when it ships, will read repo content as text for docs and READMEs.
For a repo full of documents, use the connect plugin.
Governing or reference for a provider
A provider governs when it is the board's source of truth. Its pages shape the graph when you build or refresh the board from them in Chat.
It is a reference when it provides context without modifying the board. Sources Overview explains governing-source limits.
When authorization lapses
When OAuth lapses, provider bindings stop bringing in content. The hub pulse goes quiet, and the canvas badge is no longer Synced.
Fix it in Settings → Connectors by reconnecting the provider. Existing sources and bindings stay in place.
